Your furniture catalogue stays on your device. We never receive it. This page is about the small amount we do hold when you buy a licence, and why.

The short version

The app runs in your browser. Pieces, jobs, lockers and photographs are stored on that device (in the browser’s own storage) and are not sent to us. We cannot see them, and we cannot get them back for you if the browser clears them — that is what the backup file in Settings is for.

The shop is a separate website. Buying a licence is the only time we learn anything about you, and what we learn is your email address, the business name you give for the licence, and the fact that a key was issued.

What the shop stores

When a payment succeeds we keep one record, so we can show you the key and email it again if you lose it:

That record lives in a database we run (Cloudflare D1). It is not your inventory. There is no account to sign in to, and the app does not phone home to check the key — the key is checked on your device.

The recovery form asks for an email address. We use it only to look up a key and send it back to that same address. The page answers the same way whether or not we know the address.

Who else sees it

Stripe takes the payment. They see your card details, which we do not. We never receive or store the card number. Stripe is the payment processor.

Resend sends the email that carries the key, and the email that sends it again if you ask. They see the address and the message. Resend is the email processor.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising. We use it to deliver the licence you paid for and to answer you if you write to us.

How long, and your requests

We keep the licence record for as long as we need it to re-send the key and to meet our own bookkeeping. You can ask what we hold about your email address, ask us to correct the business name, or ask us to delete the record. Write to accounts@blythbrookindustries.ca.

Deleting that record does not delete the inventory on your device, which we never had. It also does not switch a key off — a key already on a device keeps working, because the app does not check with us.

This is how we meet our responsibilities under PIPEDA, the federal privacy law. The company is in Ontario. If you are not satisfied with our answer you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
